Beauty In The Breakdown – Seth Glier

Words spoken and stalled
Parts have played and the curtains called
Sometimes we fall
To an empty room, to a silent hall
I thought I’d be lying to myself
I ought to be crying out for helpNow I laugh out loud when I should be bawling
There’s a heaven I find when everything is falling
A piece of mind I never find when things have turned around
There’s beauty in the breakdown

Burning letters in the snow
Not one salty cry I danced like the embers fly
Emptiness never really showed
It left in her eyes when she said goodbye
In the dark I can’t see where I am going
But I find a comfort in not knowing

Now I laugh out loud when I should be bawling
There’s a heaven I find when everything is falling
A piece of mind I never find when things have turned around
There’s beauty in the breakdown
Now I laugh out loud when I should be bawling
There’s a heaven I find when everything is falling
A piece of mind I never find when things have turned around
There’s beauty in the breakdown, there’s beauty in the breakdown
There’s beauty in the breakdown, there’s beauty in the breakdown
Beauty in the breakdown
